PLANETS  AND ITS MOONS

1. Mercury- has no moons
2. Venus has no moons
3. Earth has one moon called luna
4. Mars has 2 moons - phobos and deimos
5. Jupiter- has 1. Io, 2. Europa, 3. Ganymede and 4. Callisto     (Ganymede is the largest moon in solar system)
6. Saturn- Titan , Enceladus and Rhea
7. Uranus - Uranus has five major moons: Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon
8. Neptune - Triton, Proteus

Other facts
Most of the planets rotate about their own axes in an anticlockwise direction. This is called prograde rotation. Venus and Neptune are exceptions.
